Sometimes crossing the threshold is the hardest bit.

The date on the post says January 6th of 2020. That’s the day I started. Today is April 21st of 2021. It’s probably not an auspicious sign that the time it took to write a first post was over a year, but here we are. The door is ajar—I think I may enter.
